About The Project
The seed of our project ‘Development of Minor Sports Infrastructure’ germinated with the idea of enhancing the experience of minor sports facilities in schools of Chandigarh under ABD area in terms of accessibility for children of all age group. The idea of Minor Sport Facilities in School focuses on sports infrastructure and is designed to encourage children to play together. The city aims to offer choices to the residents of the city for equitable and quality urban spaces for which the city can take the pride in. These are specialized smart schools for all kinds of visitors. The purpose of this initiative is to provide individual and combined sports opportunities to users who may not normally experience them. There are four project sites comprise of 4 Govt, school falling in ABD area, namely Govt. Model Senior Secondary School Sector 22, Govt. Model High School Sector 35, Govt. Model Senior Secondary School Sector 35, Govt. Model High School Sector 43.
